Overview
Why UAE bank accounts take preparation
UAE banks apply strict know-your-customer and anti-money-laundering checks to every new company. They want to understand who owns and controls the business, what it does, where its money comes from and how its account will be used.
Most rejections and delays come from incomplete files, unclear business activity or turnover that does not match the company’s profile. Every bank also has its own appetite for certain activities, nationalities and company types, which changes over time.
Through our relationships with Dubai Islamic Bank, ADCB, RAKBANK, Mashreq and Wio, we know what each bank looks for. We prepare your file to that standard, recommend the bank most likely to approve you, and introduce you directly to the right team.
Many clients open a digital account first to start trading quickly, then add a traditional bank account for trade finance, larger volumes and credit facilities.

Why applications are refused, and how we prevent it
Points we review with every client before recommending a structure.
Unclear source of funds
Banks need to see where your money comes from. We help you document it with statements, contracts and tax records.
Activity does not match the plan
Expected turnover, countries and counterparties must match your licence and business plan. We align them before submission.
No UAE presence
Some banks prefer a UAE-resident signatory or office. We match non-resident owners with banks that accept them.
Higher-risk activities
Crypto, precious metals and some trading activities face extra scrutiny. We target banks with an appetite for your sector.

Frequently asked questions
How long does it take?
Digital accounts can open in days; traditional UAE banks usually take a few weeks, depending on your profile and the completeness of your file.
Do I need to be present?
Most UAE banks require signatories to attend a meeting or video KYC session.
Is there a minimum balance?
It varies by bank and package, from zero-balance digital accounts to higher minimums at some traditional banks.
Can I open an account before my visa is issued?
Some banks, particularly digital banks, can open accounts for non-resident owners. Others require a UAE residence visa first. We recommend the right bank for your situation.
Can I have both an Islamic and a conventional account?
Yes. Many companies hold accounts with more than one bank for different purposes.
Do you guarantee approval?
No one can guarantee approval, as the final decision is always the bank’s. Our preparation and bank matching give your application the best possible chance.
